Welcome to Lewisville United Methodist Church!

Lewisville United Methodist Church has been serving the Lewisville community since 1878. With a membership of over 800, we offer a full range of programs and ministries for all ages. We welcome your interest in our church and are here to serve you. We invite you to share in the ministry of the church through active participation and membership, and to become an integral part of our family.

Included in this brochure is a list of some of the ministries of our church. For further information, call the church office at 945-3203.

Worship
Worship

We gather as a church for traditional worship each Sunday morning at 11:00. There is a contemporary worship at 8:30am most Sundays in the Fellowship hall with music provided by the Praise Band.  We encourage active participation of children in this service. Nurseries are provided for children through age four. The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month except during Easter and Christmas when we have special celebrations.

Music Ministries

The music ministries of Lewisville United Methodist Church offer opportunities to people of all ages.

Children's Choir (K-5th grade) meets on Monday evenings from 6:30 to 7:15 in the choir room. The children sing, play handchimes and frequently participate in the worship service. (Does not meet when school is out.)

Youth Handbell Choir meets on Monday afternoons at 4:00 pm in the handbell room on the second floor. (Does meet when school is out.)

The Chancel Choir meets on Wednesdays at 7:30 pm in the choir room. This choir, which has an outstanding reputation in the district, prepares and offers the music for all the worship services of our church.

The Adult Handbell Choir is another musical opportunity offered at our church. This choir meets on Mondays at 7:30 pm and often participates in the Sunday worship service as well as performing on special occasions. The choir meets in the handbell room on the second floor. (Does not meet when school is out.)

Let us make a joyful noise unto the Lord
